Brow Lift or Coronal Lift
General Information: The brow lift or coronal lift is a procedure to elevate the brows that have fallen due to the affects of aging and gravity over time. The repositioning of the brows helps to rejuvenate the face. It also aids in lifting the skin off of the upper lids giving a rested appearance. The surgery is performed using the Endoscope to minimize the incisions, which are conveniently hidden in the hairline. As the brows are raised, deep forehead lines as well as lines between the eyebrows are corrected.
Length of Surgery: 1 to 2 Hours
Location: Accredited Surgery Center or Hospital
Anesthesia: General or local with sedation
Recovery Time: The patient can usually return to work in 2 to 3 weeks depending
on the individual. Exercise and strenuous activity may be done at 4 to 6 weeks following surgery.
Post Operative Results: Each patient heals differently; however following the surgery patients
may experience temporary pain, swelling, possible bruising, soreness and fatigue. The incisions will
fade and flatten with time. It has been our experience that patients are very happy with their post
op results and their new look.
Helpful Hints: Be in good mental and physical health. Do Not Smoke. Help improve healing by taking pre
and postoperative vitamins. Improve the appearance of small scars with topical gel.
